Join teaching artist Mark Silverberg to explore oil painting techniques of influential abstract painters, such as Kandinsky, Pollock, and De Kooning. These renowned painters valued improvisation and imagination above “realism”. Using their method, this two-session class aims to create dynamic works that reflect each participating artist’s inner spirit and personal self-expression. In this course we will examine alternative methods of brushwork, color, and composition to create inspired works of art. Can't make both sessions? No problem—jump in at a discount!
